What is the difference between the Jackson competitor and Jackson premiere skating boot? Trying to figure out the difference between the Jackson competitor and the Jackson premiere boot. My twin daughters are 10 right now and currently use the competitor. Their coach recommended staying with the same boot or possibly upgrading- trying to figure out which would be best. They are skating FS3 right now. Thank you.

I am guessing that your daughters are in the ISI program, right? The Jackson Competitor and the Jackson Premiere are actually good for the same levels of skating. The only difference I know of between the two is a slight variation in the topline of the boot. I think that the only real difference between the two is that the Jackson Competitor comes with a stock blade, the Ultima Aspire, while the Jackson Premiere does not come with a stock blade which allows the skater to choose a higher or lower level blade to go with the boot. Both skates should last through to FS4 at least, but could be stretched to FS5 (axel level) easily. If you want to buy your girls a higher level skate from Jackson, you should go fort the Jackson Elite, which is good for around FS3 to FS6. It should last for beginning double jumps like the double salchow and double toeloop for sure.I would suggest sticking with the Jackson Competitors until your girls start working on their axels, or are ready to move on to double jumps. I wish your daughters luck with their skating!

More people voted and got involved in politics during Jackson’s administration than at any other time in U.S. history. Jackson gave greedy U.S. citizens exactly what they wanted which was Indian lands full of gold and other natural resources. Indians suffered greatly at this time; so thing s were good for white people and bad for Indians. Yes, I use the term Indian; as there were no Native Americans at that time.

One good aspect was that by the end of Jackson’s term all white males could vote. Also, participation in politics in general increased.

Can someone tell me why the election of Andrew Jackson in 1828 brought a democratic fever to the nation? The election of Andrew Jackson in 1828 brought a democratic fever to the nation. Analyze the impact of this “fever” on the social reform movement.
because Andrew Jackson believed that all White males over the age of 21 should be able to vote and he also believed that the President of the United States should be elected by popular vote, the people supported these ideas that is why they elected him. I wish there was someone as radical today and Andrew Jackson was in his time, that would have a chance at winning the presidency. The Right-Left political spectrum did not exist in 1828, but if it did Jackson would have been considered a leftist as atleast in his own mind he supported the common man.

Andrew Jackson’s election in 1828 is described as The Revolution of 1828. Jackson was the first American President not rooted in the Eastern aristocracy. He was elected by the “common” man and acted within that mandate. All white males were allowed to vote for the first time.Jackson vetoed more bills in his term of office than all the previous presidents put together. Jackson was also the first to use the pocket veto, which was a delaying tactic in which the President does not sign a bill within ten days of the end of the Congressional term, preventing it from becoming law.Jackson was a major opponent of the Second Bank of the United States, considered an instrument of the Eastern aristocracy and he succeeded in having the bank’s charter revoked.
