Home Tonight: Further Reflections on the Parable of the Prodigal Son by Henri J. M. Nouwen is wonderful. You have to look deep inside yourself and take the time to read and reflect. We are using it at our church bookclub and everyone is having a different experience. Some like to journal, some find it difficult. In any event, we are all enjoying the book and the Prodigal Son. It is amazing how many times you can read this passage and gain something new. I would suggest having a better picture of the Return of the Prodigal Son. It is very hard to see on the inside cover.

Any book recommendations for a 14 year old girl? So, I’m fourteen and I’m looking for some new books to read. I like to read things with romance and fantasy – think the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Also, I’m trying to steer clear from vampires but any suggestions are welcome. 😀 Thanks so much!
If you like romance, you should read Meg Cabot or Sarah Dessen. All their works are great light reads.

Does anyone know of an author that writes novels in the style of John Grisham? I think that by now I have read most of Grisham’s work, and am therefore looking for an alternative author but who is just as good.I would be grateful for any good replies.
Anthony,I like James Patterson. Like you, I have just about all his works. If you like mystery and suspense, you’ll like JP.PJ M
