What are some male song and dance numbers from musical theatre? Solos, not ensemble numbers (I know, tricky for a guy). Something involving an advanced level of dance but preferably jazz/ballet – not tap. Think “Electricity” from Billy Elliot, but for a young adult rather than a child.

What musical number to choreograph a dance to? I am a high school senior and I choreograph a number for our school’s theatre group once a year. This year I need a song that will fit a group of around 20 kids, with a majority of girls. Any ideas?
You could do “Jellicle Cats” from Cats; “Seize the Day” from Newsies (all guys in the musical but having females do it might be interesting)”Fame” from Fame”Seasons of Love” from Rent
