Where to go next with my classical reportoire? Just did my grade 8 piano with lcm (and got a distinction! :D) and I want to get a few new pieces under my belt, but I don’t know where to start. Just as a matter of interest, the pieces I played for my exam were:Fantasia in C minor – JS Bach (part of a fantasia and fugue)Agadio in G – SchubertAndaluza from 12 Spanish Dances – GranadosI have also just finished learning the Prelude from Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque and intend to learn the minuet soon too. What composer/style should I explore next? There’s just so much out there!
If you like this piece you can download Brahms: Dance No.19 in B Minor sheet music online in digital format.
I would think your teacher is probably the best one to give you guidance on this, but here are a few suggestions:Sinding – The Rustle of SpringChaminade – AutumnChopin – One or two of the EtudesLyapunov – Transcendental Study No 1 Op11 (Berceuse)
